Astrobiology

Welcome to the public forum for scientists from Swedish institutions
studying the origins, evolution, distribution and future of life in the
Universe.

Astrobiology is a highly interdisciplinary field that involves biology,
astronomy, Earth science, planetary science, space physics, chemistry,
philosophy, linguistics etc.

Examples of research topics that fall under the umbrella of astrobiology
include the origin and early evolution of life on Earth, the prospects of
life in different cosmic environments, the search for life in the solar
system and on exoplanets, and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.
